WRAP AROUND CARE

Breakfast Club is available to all children who attend the Infant or Junior School from Nursery to Year 6 and is open throughout the school year, term time only. We have been running since September 2012 and are very proud of the service we offer. We are always looking at ways to improve and welcome comments and suggestions from you.

This page provides you with information about what goes on at our Club, as well as forms that can be downloaded.

For those of you who have not made use of our Club yet, please take a look at our leaflet which can be accessed on this page, to see what we offer. In response to requests from parents we have extended our hours and Breakfast Club is now open from 7:15am. We have also reduced rates for children eligible for the Pupil Premium funded sessions.

We hope you find this page useful – if you have any questions about us, please contact either of the school offices or speak to Sam, our Breakfast Club Leader.

The financial and administrative arrangements of the Breakfast Club are dealt with, and managed by, the Infant School.  Completed contract and contact/medical forms can be downloaded from the website by clicking on the purple button, completed and then handed to the Infant School Office.  Once we have received your paperwork we can then set you up on our cashless payment system which will allow you to book and pay for all sessions online.

We do ask that payment is made in advance.  The Infant School can also take payment via the Tax-Free Childcare scheme through the government. Click here for more information.

The Federation runs a daily breakfast club from 7.15am – 8.30am every morning and it is based at the Infant site. Your child will find a welcoming and safe environment along with a healthy breakfast and lots of fun activities. The charge is £5 per session or a reduced rate of £2 per session for Pupil Premium children.

Booking in advance is required to ensure an appropriate staff: pupil ratio is maintained. Please contact the Infant School office on 01305 782470 if you have any further queries.

As part of the Governing Body’s desire to increase the extended school services provision, we opened our After School Club

“The Hub” (as named by the children) complements the Breakfast Club extending the provision of safe and friendly childcare in familiar surroundings. Sessions run during term time, providing activities and games that engage and stimulate children of different ages.  The activities available to children include board games, art and craft activities, books,  construction toys,  supervised use of technology or the opportunity to complete homework.   There is of course also the  opportunity to use the school grounds for outdoor play and activities (weather permitting).

The financial and administrative arrangements are managed through the  Junior School via an online payment and booking system (Arbor).  To register with The Hub,  please download the forms available on this page and forward to the Junior School.  Our preferred method of payment is online. The Junior School can also take payment via the Tax-Free Childcare scheme through the government. Click here for more information.

As referenced earlier you can make bookings/payments online through the Federation online payment system, Arbor. Pupil Premium rate is available upon request.

“The Hub” session times are:

3.00pm — 4.30pm  £6 (£3 for pupil premium)

3.00pm — 5.45pm   £12 (£6 for pupil premium)

Booking in advance is required to ensure that an appropriate staff : pupil ratio is maintained. We regret that we are unable to accept same day booking.

Please contact the Junior School office on 01305 786041 should you have any further queries.
