As a sparkling start to their ‘FIRE! FIRE!’ topic this half term, Year 2 went on a visit to Weymouth Fire Station. The firefighters told the children all about the equipment carried on the fire engines and what it was used for.

 

The children also got to squirt the hoses which was BRILLIANT fun! What a good start to a great topic. Watch this space for more exciting Year 2 fire adventures!
