If you didn’t already know, this week has been Tech Week. Children’s learning across the Federation has centred around Science, Design Technology and ICT.

 

There have been some fantastic activities taking place – children have been investigating which food will attract flies, making pizzas, investigating what material is best to muffle sound, dissecting flowers, finding out what biscuit is best for dunking, using data loggers to experiment with sound, making dioramas, filming a news report – and loads more! We have seen some wonderful predictions being made and scientific enquiries taking place.

 

The children have also attended Cyberwise sessions in the Lifebus and have been visited by the Safer Schools and Communities Team in order to teach them about ways of staying safe while using the internet. It has been a really fantastic week and thank you to all staff for their hard work in organising it.
