We have organised Family Networking workshops for parents to attend to provide support for their children at home and work in conjunction with school to provide the best outcomes for their children. We have secured support from the Dorset Parent Carer Council (DPCC), Chesil Family Partnership Zone (CFPZ), SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service), SENSS (Specialist Teacher Advisory Support Service), Speech and Language therapist, Educational Psychologists, Friends of Wyke Regis Federation, as well as school staff.
The Family Networking sessions will start on the 15th November 2019 and will continue until the end of this academic year. Sessions will start at 9am for refreshments and run from 9:15am to 10:15 am. The workshops will have different themes for each session, outlined below, and will be supported by external agencies and professionals who we already have good communication with. We will alternate between the infants and junior sites.
Please come to the sessions that you feel are relevant and can support your child’s learning at home and in schools. If you have any questions regarding the Family Networking Workshops, please contact myself, Mrs Bond (Juniors) or Mrs Birchenough (Infants).
Yours sincerely,
Mrs A Bowles Inclusion Manger Wyke Regis Primary Federation
