On Wednesday 25th March, Year 3 opened their Class Museums. This special one-off occasion was to show-case the fantastic learning Year 3 had completed on their From Stone to Steel project.
For five weeks, the children have been researching and writing up their findings, creating artefacts and models and gathering knowledge. On Wednesday afternoon, the children gave guided tours to the Year 4s, their Year 6 buddies and their parents. All visitors were amazed at the level of knowledge and understanding the children had acquired in such a short time.
Mrs McLeish from the South Dorset Ridgeway Project said, “It was a pleasure to experience the energy and enthusiasm in the classrooms, and to see how completely engaged the children were with the South Dorset Ridgeway.”
