In English, Year 3 have been learning how to write letters and have written to a famous person who inspires them for various reasons.

Dillon in 3C decided to write to Professor Stephen Hawking to tell him how much he admires him and his work.

To his amazement, Dillon received a reply from Professor Hawking on Friday together with a fantastic fridge magnet that read:

‘REMEMBER TO LOOK UP AT THE STARS AND NOT DOWN AT YOUR FEET. TRY TO MAKE SENSE OF WHAT YOU SEE, AND WONDER ABOUT WHAT MAKES THE UNIVERSE EXIST. BE CURIOUS’
