Year 5 finished their Great Outdoors topic today with a lovely local nature walk. We used a map and compass to track our journey, identified and surveyed flowers growing along the walk and recorded the 6 figure grid references of landmarks along the way.
The walk was a great end to a great topic. We enjoyed being with our friends, being outside in the sunshine, the beautiful views along the coast, seeing wildlife and eating ice-creams! We were even joined by a lizard, who clearly wanted to take part in the fun!
